For the 2025 National Organic Chemistry Symposium (NOS) (the 49th NOS and the 100 year anniversary), we are excited to officially post the names of the speakers for the event. You can see the profile photos and names of the 16 speakers at: NOS Speaker’s Page-click on a profile photo and you will be taken to the speaker’s research group website or Linkedin profile where you can learn more about that individual.
Note: the 20225 Roger Adams Awardee will also be featured at the event; however, the name of the awardee is typically announced in C&EN in early September. In addition to an outstanding set of lecturers, NOS is widely known for its large evening poster sessions and its engagement of attendees, from undergraduates to established researchers, both academic and industrial.

The 2025 NOS will be the 49th time the symposium and this will mark the 100 year anniversary of being organized by the Organic Division. It will take place on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY from Sunday June 22 to Thursday June 26, 2025. The theme is Return to the Roots as the 1st NOS was held in Rochester, NY in 1925; however, the NOS has not been in NY since 1989 when it was at Cornell
The NOS is the premier event sponsored by the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry to highlight recent advances in organic chemistry. See the history of NOS.
