The 242nd American Chemical Society national meeting is only four weeks away. This meeting–with the theme of Chemistry of Air, Space and Water–promises to be an exciting meeting in a convention-friendly city. There is still time to register for the meeting and to secure a hotel within walking distance to the Colorado Convention Center and the hotels where the technical program will be held. More information about the meeting can be found at http://www.acs.org/Denver2011.
The Division of Organic Chemistry (ORGN) will have over 800 talks and posters at this meeting, including a number of special symposia:
Arthur C. Cope and Arthur C. Cope Scholars Award Symposium
Tetrahedron Prize for Creativity in Organic Chemistry Symposium
Technical Achievements in Organic Chemistry Symposium
EPA Presidential Green Chemistry Award Winners: Research and Applications
Young Investigators Symposium
Young Academic Investigators Symposium
More information can be found on the ORGN Technical Program on PACS
In addition, ORGN will again be cosponsoring a poster session with MEDI on Wednesday. Refreshments and food will be available as well as entertainment from the band “Interstate Cowboy“.
We hope to see you in Denver!
