Nominations are now open for the ACS Publication Awards (ACS Catalysis, Organic Letters, The Journal of Organic Chemistry, Organic Process Research & Development, and Organometallics) for manuscripts published in 2024 (2023 & 2024 for Organometallics and 2022, 2023, & 2024 for ACS Catalysis). The deadline for nominations is December 31, 2024. Below, you can find details on eligibility and directions for submission of nominations.

The Journal of Organic Chemistry:

The Journal of Organic Chemistry Outstanding Publication of the Year Lectureship Award will be awarded to the research team behind an outstanding article published in an issue of JOC in 2024 that demonstrates creativity and impact in the field of organic chemistry, broadly based. Special consideration will be given to early-career researchers as well as to the originality and impact of the article.

For more details, visit the 2025 JOC Lectureship webpage to make your nomination.

Organic Letters:

The Organic Letters Outstanding Publication of the Year Lectureship Award will be awarded to the research team behind an outstanding Letter published in an issue of Organic Letters in 2024 that demonstrates creativity and impact in the field of organic chemistry, broadly based. Special consideration will be given to early career researchers as well as the Letter’s originality and impact.

Organometallics:

This award recognizes an early-career author of exceptional articles published in Organometallics during the past two years (2023-2024). The articles chosen should emphasize the importance of organometallic chemistry and have a profound impact on organic and inorganic chemistry as a whole.

For more details, visit the 2025 Organometallics Lectureship webpage to make your nomination.

ACS Catalysis:

The annual ACS Catalysis Lectureship for the Advancement of Catalytic Science honors an individual or a collaborative team for recent and significant contributions to the field, which appeared as a publication in ACS Catalysis within the last 36 months preceding the nomination deadline (2022, 2023, 2024). If there are multiple corresponding authors, please note who the award recognizes (maximum of two corresponding authors). In 2025, one lectureship award will be given in each of the three areas of catalysis covered by ACS Catalysis, namely: Biocatalysis or enzymology; Heterogeneous catalysis; Homogeneous catalysis
