Early & Mid-Career Investigator Award Symposia in Denver

The ACS Division of Organic Chemistry (DOC) wishes to congratulate the winners of the 2024 Early Career and Mid-Career Investigator Awards. These scientists will present their work at the ACS National Meeting held in Denver in a dedicated full day symposia starting at 8 AM on Monday and Tuesday, respectively for the two programs. The symposia will be in the Colorado Convention Center Mile High Ballroom 4B. Thanks to Steve Silverman and Steve Wisniewski who are Organizers for these programs. The committee members who worked to help solicit applications and select the awardees are also deeply appreciated by the division.

The Early Career Investigator Award (ECI) recognizes independent and non-academic investigators (e.g. industry, government or non-profit laboratory) who are no more than 10 years from graduate school or post-doctoral appointment. These individuals have demonstrated outstanding promise for future contributions to Organic Chemistry.

The Mid-Career Investigator (MCI) Award program recognizes scientists who are more than 10 years from graduate school or post-doctoral appointment and are a current researcher in a non-academic setting (e.g. industry, government or non-profit laboratory) who have demonstrated sustained excellence in Organic Chemistry.
