The next National Organic Chemistry Symposium (NOS) will be held from Sunday, June 23 to Thursday, June 27, 2019 on the campus of Indiana University, Bloomington.
The National Organic Chemistry Symposium is the premier event sponsored by the Division of Organic Chemistry of the American Chemical Society to highlight recent advances in organic chemistry. The 46th NOS will feature several invited speakers plus the 2019 Roger Adams Awardee.
The 45th National Organic Chemistry Symposium held from Sunday, June 25-29, 2017 on the campus of UC Davis was a huge success. The conference had ~500 attendees from 14 countries, 5 continents, 42 companies, and over 150 universities and colleges. The attendees included 70 undergrads, 150 grad students, 25 postdoctoral fellows. Videos of the presentations of 11 of the 14 speakers will be available to members over the next several months. The program book is available from the NOS History page.
The goal of the symposium is to present a distinguished roster of speakers that represents the current status of the field of organic chemistry, in terms of breadth and creative advances. Four large poster sessions and social events will round out the schedule, and cultural and recreational activities will also be available.
Don’t miss this premier event sponsored by the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry! Details will be posted at: nationalorganicsymposium.org when they become available.
